We are an award-winning, family-run, design-led brand dedicated to empowering those of us in the diaspora to feel pride in our culture and heritage.

Over the years, we have had to have some serious conversations about race with our daughters.  We have had an increased number of conversations since the murder of George Floyd and have even been able to use some of the powerful images captured by our resident photographer, Eddie (aka "Daddy"), during the 2020 London Black Lives Matter protests to further explain this to them and our audience.  We involve our children in the design of our products, encouraging them to ask questions and express their creativity. 

We are also very passionate about sustainability and are making sure we protect the Earth as much as we can while we are here.  Therefore, our T-shirts and sweatshirts are produced using organic cotton and we use recycled and recyclable paper for our posters and cards.  Our printing choices are made with sustainability in mind too and we aim for packaging that is either recyclable or compostable.  

In 2025, we were delighted to win Best Culture-Driven Apparel Brand 2025 – UK in LUXLife's The Perfect Gift Awards 2025, we hope it's the first of many!
